Another extraordinary set of circumstances precedes this 2009 newsletter. We look back in disbelief at the tragic events of February 2009 in Victoria hoping that the losses are not real, that the friends will show up unannounced with hugs all round, that businesses will be back to normal on Monday morning and that crop yields this year will turn out to be at the very least, average. But I am afraid these things are not to be.
